2live3 admo. seem to have downed the shutters. It is desolate and bleak here whenever I return . I wonder why they dont reformat it. It is certainly not a social networking site .

Thank you Andy Snaden for answering the KNOCK. You don’t seem particularly affected by the weather and may be living in the Gulf Stream side area. I have a g+ friend in flintshire and he tells me that the real cold is in north east Britain and that the Gulf stream does make a difference in Flint shire.

IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT
The train had already started moving when we entered platform number one at Gorakhpur railway station. We had to run after the moving train to enter a compartment at the tail end of the moving Allahabad express. It was a near miss !! Lucky that it was a steam engine that picks up speed slowly.
